We Are

Women who explore. Women who learn. Women who fight. Women who love. We are daughters. We are sisters. We are mothers. But most importantly,

We are the people who are shaping the future.

Machina Ex Femina was created to expand women’s rightful space in tech. Women are and always have been an integral part of creating tech. From the great Ada Lovelace, who was the first ever computer programmer, to the brilliant trio Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson, who aided NASA in a pivotal space launch with their exemplary mathematics expertise.

“coding is the language of the future, and every girl should learn it.”

— reshma saujani, founder, girls who code

All profits of Machina Ex Femina are to fund the education of incoming university freshman majoring in computer science or computer engineering through our scholarship.

We have created an interview series which highlights and celebrates women in tech.

These women are at varying stages of their careers and lives. We hope this series inspires women of all ages to continue working toward their dream careers.
